How did you first learn about Trua?
I have always followed Claire’s story on Instagram and then started following the business.
Why did you decide to reach out to Trua?
I have always had issues with thinning hair and never knew what to do about it and from following Claire’s journey I felt like this would be the right for for me. I was always looking up things on the internet but it was all contradicting things and I wanted to get professional advice from someone who actually cares.
Did you do a Consultation with Trua?
I had a consultation about 2 years ago and to say that it has changed my life is an understatement. I was always one of these people that listened to advice about sulphates being awful for your hair and but claire really explained to me the ins and outs of hair and scalp care. I loved that she was in no way pushy to buy products just told me exactly what would help me and even suggested starting with some products and then buying more because it’s expensive to buy them all at once. I soon learned that all the products are worth every penny.
What hair or scalp issues did you have?
I have very thinning hair and it has come on so much in the past 2 years.
Please describe your experience with Trua after looking for advice.
My experience with trua has always been amazing. I have often sent messages late at night or even at the weekends and have had Amy or Claire get back to if not ASAP a couple of hours later. The customer service is second to none, I’ve never come across a business like it before.
What is your favourite piece of advice you received from Trua?
Scalp care is the most important thing you can do for your hair, which is so obvious now when you think about it because a flower can’t grow without the proper conditions and that is the same for hair.
What is your favourite product?
I have so many. I love the L’Oréal metal detox range Shampoo, mask and oil) also the Sandalore and Nioxin Night Density as they are both so lightweight and have definitely helped my hair journey.
How would you describe the progress of your hair/scalp care journey?
I couldn’t really see much progress with my hair journey until loads of my friends and family were commenting on how thick and long my hair had gotten. This was unbelievable for me as I never experienced anyone saying that to me before. I definitely believe this is down to the advice about taking care of my scalp and all the other bits of advice as well, such as silk scrunchies, silk pillowcases, don’t over rely on dry shampoo and if you do wash your hair that night. I go on to Trua’s page everyday to see if there are new tips and advice and there normally is which is absolutely amazing and something I’ve been looking for, for years.
What advice would you give to someone that is undecided on reaching out to Trua?
You will not regret it, all you have to do is follow them on social media to see all the free advice that they give out. No other company would ever dream of doing that unless they were getting something for it. They are so honest and open about everything and will lead you in the right direction for any hair needs, whether it’s hair loss, thinning, dry scalp. They are all so professional and they really educate you when it comes to hair care needs. As I have already mentioned as well the customer service is the best I have ever come across.
